On Call Program

The On-Call Program provides 24-hour on-call doula services to clients delivering at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania or at Pennsylvania Hospital. Clients, HUP staff, or the midwives at Pennsylvania call the dispatcher, who will contact the on-call doula. If no doula is scheduled, the dispatcher will call the doulas listed on the ‘call anytime’ list and attempt to find one available. While we cannot guarantee a doula, we will do our very best to provide a doula for every request!
